About Yasmin Centre
The Yasmin Centre for the Arts and Community is an Ontario non-profit which harnesses the power of the arts to foster healing, community connections and deep bonds. From dance and other performing arts to music, painting and poetry, the Yasmin Centre brings together artists and instructors with students and audiences of all ages to break new creative ground and achieve personal growth.
Through its multicultural staff and instructors, the Yasmin Centre's programming includes pan-Asian traditions from East-, South- and West Asia (Middle East), serving the Greater Toronto Area's large Iranian, Turkish, Arabic-speaking, Indian, Korean and other communities — all parts of the broader Canadian cultural mosaic.
At our own facility in Willowdale and in other venues in the Toronto area, the Yasmin Centre brings together individuals and communities to practice and learn different arts, to overcome barriers and challenges and reach new heights.
